Darts and pleats
With this tool, an existing dart is relocated entirely or partially to one or more new positions.

- Select dart leg to be rotated towards the other
- Select second dart leg
- Select new dart insert position(s) with the sub-menu point construction
The insert positions must be selected one after the other in direction of rotation. The rotation direction is defined through the selection of the dart legs. An arrow indicates the direction. A maximum of 10 insert positions is permitted.

Functions of the context bar
If this button is active, the drag points of the active construction can be adjusted. Depending on the drag area, different drag points are available.
With this function, an existing displacement line can be deselected or a new displacement line can be selected . If the function is active, the points / lines for which a displacement line can be selected or deselected are marked. The cursor symbol indicates whether a displacement line already exists
or not
. Any line of the active part can be selected as displacement line. The right principle must be considered, as this determines the move direction.
This function only becomes active if diverging from a master value
The master value controls the values of the other objects in tools with several objects for interactive settings. If it is changed, all other values also change. As a rule, the master value is assigned to the first object selected when calling., further values have been set additionally or separately. This functionality is available in some tools only after option switch.
zeroise values
resets all additional or separate adjustments.
If a distribution of dart content has taken place during
relocate dart
, the original distribution can be re-instated with the function
zeroise values
. The original distribution distributes the total dart content equally to all insert positions.
With click new, the entire click process is gone through again. The basic elements of the active function, e.g. points, lines, directions are queried one after another. You can decide separately for each basic element whether to retain it or set it again. A right click accepts the original position/ setting.
With this function, subsequent insert positions are defined. A maximum of 10 insert positions is permitted. Subsequent insert positions can only be set after the already defined insert positions, relating to the rotation direction of the dart.
After having added new insert positions, the defined dart content is distributed equally to all insert positions. If a manual distribution had been carried out previously, this will be reset. The percentage part of the original dart is maintained.
The dialogue select objects opens where additional objects can be selected or previously selected objects can be deselected. With reset
, all selected objects are deselected. At least one object must be selected for the button
continue
to be active. Clicking on this button terminates submitting.
With this function, one or more existing darts are shortened or lengthened along the centre axis by a given amount. The contour line remains unchanged.
