rotate from point to point
This transformation rotates the objects about a constructed pivot point. The rotation angle is determined by the angle between pivot point → starting point of the rotation angle and pivot point → final point of the rotation angle.
This transformation rotates the objects about a constructed pivot point. The rotation angle is determined by the angle between pivot point → direction 1 of the rotation angle and pivot point → direction 2 of the rotation angle.
This tool rotates objects by a pre-set angle. The angle is stated in degrees and is identical in all sizes - as long as no break size-dependent adjustments have been made.

Functions of the context bar
With this function, an existing displacement line can be deselected or a new displacement line can be selected . If the function is active, the points / lines for which a displacement line can be selected or deselected are marked. The cursor symbol indicates whether a displacement line already exists
or not
. Any line of the active part can be selected as displacement line. The right principle must be considered, as this determines the move direction.
The function cutting line is only active for the type line with direction . Having selected the cutting line, the new line does not have a given length; it is extended to or cut off at the cutting line. Clicking on
switches to the mode for selection of the cutting line. A set cutting line can be deselected in this mode.
An interactive rotate transformation of type from point to point
or with direction
can be switched to the other type, after calling, at any time. Clicking on one of the two buttons in the
context bar
starts the click process where the
end point
for
switch type: point to point
or the direction for
switch type: with direction
are re-defined. The original
starting point
is always transferred during type switch.
With click new, the entire click process is gone through again. The basic elements of the active function, e.g. points, lines, directions are queried one after another. You can decide separately for each basic element whether to retain it or set it again. A right click accepts the original position/ setting.
