Retransform

Under retransform , all transformation steps carried out on the active part are displayed and offered for repeat application. These include the transformation functions move, rotate, rotate and move, hook in, mirror and scale.

retransform is used to repeat a transformation with further objects. As the number of transformed objects with copy and/ or the number of transformations of the original transformation cannot be altered, objects can only submitted later with retransform .

retransform is also used to transform objects after their modification and/ or new objects back to their original position; this is a reversal of the transformation direction.

As the different types of transformation may occur a number of times in the active part, they can be selected from a drop-down menu. This drop-down menu indicates the record step in which the function was applied. Additionally, you can select with , whether the original transformation is to be activated or its reversal. A preview of the selected transformation appears when the cursor is positioned near a point or a line. The transformation is activated with and then, the objects to be transformed can be determined.

Step-by-step guide
  • select retransform in the Toolbar
  • select the transformation to be repeated in the context bar
  • if required, reverse the transformation with the button
  • move the cursor close to an object to check whether the correct transformation has been selected. A preview is shown.
  • confirm the transformation with
  • activate / deactivate copy
  • select objects to be transformed
  • alter number of transformations if required
